Winds will be from the SW today pumping in heat and humidity. Highs in most places will be in the middle to upper 80s. However SW near Cincinnati highs will approach the 90 degree mark where higher dew-points have lead to a warmer start there. Widely scattered thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening, but most will stay dry. Those who see storms will get a brief bout of strong winds, heavy rain and deadly cloud to ground lightning due to the high water content of the air. A weakening front will pass trough this evening bringing a brief period of relief from the heat and humidity through early Friday. Temps will dip to near 60 both tonight and tomorrow night with highs tomorrow only getting into the lower 80s. Southerly flow returns as the front washes out to our South during the day Friday, meaning by afternoon Friday, temps will reach to near 90 once again. Humidity over the weekend increase as well meaning storm chances return through most of next week. Saturday may be the hottest day of the summer so far. With highs possibly reaching the lower 90s and high humidity making it feel like the middle to upper 90s.
