A few scattered thunderstorms will develop after 4pm as a weak front begins to approach from the West combining with a disturbance approaching from the Gulf of Mexico. Temperatures today will reach the upper 80s to near 90 in a few locations. Higher humidity will be felt making for heat indices near 95 at times. Tonight into tomorrow showers and some storms will increase in coverage. Rain could be heavy at times SE of I-71, especially in any storms that train over the same regions. Tomorrow's temps will be held down due to plenty of cloud cover and showers and storms. Highs will struggle to get out of the 70s. Monday will be much warmer again with highs in the middle 80s as skies break ahead of our next stronger front. By Monday night and Tuesday a strong front could pose a severe weather threat with the potential for damaging winds. By middle to late week cooler and a bit less humid air will filter in, however several more disturbances could keep the potential for more showers and storms around.
