Starting next week, the last week of October, you have the chance to make history. Vallejo is the first city to adopt Participatory Budgeting (PB), giving its residents the opportunity to not only share their ideas but also help decide how to spend $3 million to improve Vallejo.
Starting on Tuesday, 10/30, through Wednesday, 12/5 you will have nine dates to choose from. There are both afternoon and evening Assemblies when your input will be sought. We are expecting that those two hours you will give to the community will be tightly scripted so you can trust that this time will be well spent.
Refreshments will be served , child care available at most Assemblies and at least two Assemblies will have Spanish interpreters on site. Visit the PB website to select the Assembly (date and location) that is most convenient for you.
