Participate in National Geographic Peeps In Places photo contest

Everyone loves those marshmallow peeps that make their way into stores right about Easter time.  It certainly appears that the folks at National Geographic love them, and have launched a really fun photo contest once again in 2010.  Dubbed Peeps in Places, I think they're trying to create the ultimate travel "peep show", and if this year is like other years, you will be so amused at the great photos of peeps around the world!  Check out the photo gallery of peeps to see some of these adorable Easter mascots all dressed up to capture the theme of the place they're vacationing. This is one of those simple contests that takes more creativity than professional photographer's equipment.  Simply take your peeps on an adventure around Boston, Brookline, Brooklyn or beyond and capture the essence of the place by dressing your peep up and taking it out!  Why not take your peep to your favorite B&B and let it enjoy a gourmet breakfast or a better yet, a fabulous king sized bed?

Once your peep has visited its favorite B&B or Boston landmark, go to the My Shot page on NationalGeographic.com.  You'll need to either log in with your account info or create a new account. Once signed in,  upload your photos to the site, and be sure to tag them as Peeps so the contest officials can find them.

Judges will be sort through the images to find the very best ones.  Winning photos will be posted on the website in the ultimate peep show!. Last year, ABC's Good Morning America even featured some of these photos.
