Update 2/27/14: Oasis was adopted!

Why get out of bed if nobody is coming to visit?

Why get out of bed if there is nothing to look forward to?

After months in her kennel run, Oasis, a partially deaf dog who is being held at the Lehigh County Humane Society in Allentown, Pa., has taken to sleeping away most of her days.

Oasis is in the prime of her life, yet her time passes by in much the same way, day after day.

The following information has been shared about this beautiful dog who is waiting to go home:

A staff favorite, she gets few visitors and spends her days snoozing. Just 3 - 5 yrs old, loves to give kisses, walks calmly on a leash, loves to play with other dogs.

Because Oasis is partially deaf, she startles easily, and as such, she is best suited to a home without cats or children.

Please take a moment to network on Oasis' behalf - she is a young, friendly dog who deserves something, make that someone, in her life to make it worth getting out of bed.
