The Roman Catholic Church dedicated to Christ the King was established in the Diocese of Fresno in 1955. The small house that became the church of Christ was designed in a modest style. The white walls of Christ the King signify the purity of his heart. A small gable roof covers the white walls that are plain with no decor. The front wall, surmounted by a wide triangular gable, has a porch situated right in the center of its lower tier. A small tower immersed in the center of the gable roof, right above the front wall, is surmounted by a large spire with a small Latin cross. Albeit the shape of the spire is not in harmony with the outer shape of Christ the King, it is the most interesting feature of its exterior. The spire, crowned with the white Latin cross, is de facto the focal point of Christ the King.
