Keyboard
The included keyboard dock has been the most controversial aspect of the ATIV Smart PC Pro and there is a reason for this -- it is disappointing. Fortunately, we have not had the highly reported problem with the tablet constantly disconnecting from the dock. However, we have had issues with the touchpad, even after uninstalling and reinstalling its drivers. It is very erratic and at times, unresponsive.
This isn't as big of a deal as it may seem. For one thing, the keys work great. Instead of using the touchpad, one can easily have a great experience with an optional small mouse or just touching the screen. Still, when you spend $1200 on a device, you expect it to be perfect.
Multimedia
Besides being a great PC and tablet, the ATIV Smart PC Pro is an excellent multimedia player. Unlike other tablets, it plays just about every format thrown at it. The speakers aren't the best, but they are more than adequate. The ATIV Smart PC Pro makes a decent music player as well.
The ATIV Smart PC Pro has a 2MP front-facing camera and a 5MP rear-facing camera. Both take somewhat grainy pictures and videos. However, using a camera on a PC tablet should be a complete afterthought by now.
