The battery life on the iPhone 5s isn't perfect, but it's better than it was on the iPhone 5. We browsed the Internet with Sprint's LTE network for about an hour, listened to music for 2 hours, streamed a video from Hulu Plus for 45 minutes, talked on the phone for a half hour, and used the GPS for a 20 minute trip. The battery lasted us almost 9 hours. Doing the same on the iPhone 5 lasted us 8 hours. The iPhone 5s battery will definitely last a full day for most users.
The iPhone 5s may not be the revolutionary new Apple device some people wanted, but it is certainly evolutionary. The extended camera capabilities, the robust iOS 7 operating system, the faster-than-fast A7 processor and the fingerprint sensor certainly make the iPhone 5s a winner. The only downside to this device is the too-small 4-inch screen.
Is the iPhone 5s the best smartphone on the market? That's a tough question and it really depends on the user. But it is certainly safe to say that the iPhone 5s proves that Apple is still a major force to be reckoned with, even without the direction of Steve Jobs.
