Beginning a new fitness program?  Seasoned exerciser?

A fitness assessment can help everyone identify current fitness level, reach new exercise goals, or enhance current fitness programs.

The Parker Recreation Center is offering free fitness assessments on January 18, 2010.  During a 30 minute session, participants will meet with certified staff to determine measurements in several key areas including:

  • Blood pressure
  • Body composition and BMI
  • Cardiorespiratory fitness
  • Muscular strength and endurance
  • Joint flexibility

A fitness assessment can also identify potential health and injury risks, help establish goals and boost motivation. To help participants track progress, a re-testing date is offered on Monday, April 19.

These free fitness assessments at the Parker Recreation Center are by appointment only.  Contact Hillary at 303-805-3278 for additional details or stop in at the front desk to sign up.

The Parker Recreation Center is located at 17301 E. Lincoln Ave., Parker, CO 80134.
