Parker real estate agent Donna Foerster was “arrested” in Parker at noon on July 15 and placed into MDA Lock-Up at the Rock Bottom Brewery near Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree, CO.
A well-known annual event, the Muscular Dystrophy Association “jails” local business and community leaders to raise funds for Jerry’s Kids. “Inmates” must seek donations to get bailed out. According to the national MDA website, 76 cents of every dollar raised is spent directly on services, research, and education.
Though MDA Lock-Up is a fun and light-hearted event, muscular and nerve diseases are serious medical conditions severely impacting people of all races worldwide. Over 50,000 Americans are affected by various forms of muscular dystrophy diseases.
“The world is connected,” states Donna Foerster, Keller Williams Action Realty in Parker, CO. “One person can touch someone else and make a difference. That’s what I hope to accomplish.”

It's a fun way to raise money for an important issue. My husband has worked in a couple offices where the bosses were "arrested" and it created quite a buzz.
