Since Michael Jackson’s Memorial Service, Paris, Prince, and Blanket have been in the light. The subject of the children receiving publicity is controversial with many and draws mixed emotions. Some feel that it dishonors Michael Jackson’s wishes for the children to be in the light, so soon after his death. Others simply want to see the children and hear them speak. No matter whether you crave information on MJ’s kids or would rather that the media leaves them alone, the consensus is overwhelming: everyone is deeply concerned for the children’s safety and well being.
During the Memorial Service, Paris and Prince seemed to have a firmer grasp of the things that have been taking place. Little Blanket, however, seemed to be withdrawn and obviously overwhelmed with all of the attention. Now that questions are arising regarding the children’s biological parents and future custody issues, it seems apparent that Paris, Prince, and Blanket will continue to be in the light. Unfortunately, they may also become the subject of tabloid media fare in a way comparable to that of their father.
Gloria Allred spoke the other day and brought up a significant fact. She said that under California law, it essentially doesn’t matter who the biological parents are. She stated that since the children were born while he and Debbie Rowe were married, they are legally his children. This is an interesting fact, and trusting Gloria Allred’s judgment and legal understanding of California family law, which I do, I would conclude that would give the Jackson family the legal right to the children. Regardless of what happens during the coming months and how many custody battles ensue, the children will be the subject of much fanfare, media speculation, and unfortunately media frenzy.
Michael Jackson did his best to shield those children from the public. I must say that he did a very good job. His children were not broadcast all over the tabloids, he didn’t have a reality show “The Jackson 4” and he never publicly exploited his children for money, even when it appeared he was in debt. With all of the attention he spent protecting and shielding the children from the public, it is only logical that they will have a hard time dealing with the light that they are now being illuminated with. Paris, Prince, and Blanket may hate the light or embrace it. Paris has stated that she wants to be an entertainer. Either way, the media must respect the emotional well-being of these children who have lost their father, whose world has just turned upside down, and who are now facing the public light for the first time.

There should be some kind of law in place to protect the privacy of children. I can't deny my own personal curiosity to know of the children's well being, BUT not at the expense of the paparazzi stalking them. They're children, children in a HUGE transition & mourning...leave them be. If any of them still want to entertain when they are older, we'll see plenty of them then. Right now, its important for them to have as much of a normal life as possible, not only because that's what Michael wanted for them, but because it will make for the best foundation possible as they grow.
And FURTHER MORE, people PLEASE stop wondering about their paternity. Michael is the only father of all three children, not just because of California law, but LOOK AT THEM...look past the inherited features from the mother(s) and you'll see a whole lot of Jackson in them. Leave them alone, they've got enough drama to over come as it is.
Why does it take Prince Michael I having VITILIGO for people to realize that he is truly MJ's BIOLOGICAL son? NOW that he has this inherited disease, maybe people will believe what Michael said all along. Just like Michael explained first on Oprah that HE had vitiligo but people chose to doubt that too and speak HORRIBLY about something he had no control over -- until the autopsy report proved it was a true diagnosis. When will people realize that MICHAEL WAS NOT LYING?! For instance, even tho HE TOLD THE TRUTH and was 100% acquitted by a jury of his peers, people still CHOSE to believe lies about him! We should all feel ashamed of how we bashed The KOP and made his life MISERABLE for years after he gave us so much! R.I.P. Michael. The media (and all the hurtful naysayers) killed you afterall.
It is a conspiration for money and power! Not Debbie Rowe and Michael Jackson are the biological parents of Prince ,Paris and Blanket Jackson!!! They have two more half biological brothers. Michael knew the biological mother. All children has the same biological mother and all has other biological fathers. The biological mother seeking a lawyer and she could prove with a DNA test who she is! Prince has vitiligo ,because his biological parents gene mix. Jackson family don't want you to know the truth ! They don't want there biological mother have anything to do with her own kids! They don't want to loose money .power and fame! I hope God will pay them back for what they deserve!
