Paris Jackson's got a NFL offer to be a Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader, reported TMZ on March 11. "We think Paris will make a great Eagle cheerleader!" said Barbara Zaun, Director of the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders. "We thought that she had a lot of poise, confidence, and enthusiasm in her cheer performance . . . Paris has that 'wow factor' that makes a great cheerleader." Paris, who is 15, must be at least 18, with a high school diploma, to join the squad.
The question becomes, would Paris Jackson ever take an NFL offer? Apparently, Paris wants to be an actress. "To her, it’s all about having a real acting career and, like her dad, she’s not going to do anything small," said a source.
One would conclude that being a cheerleader doesn't equal being a "real" actress.
Reportedly, Janet Jackson, Paris' aunt, is not happy with her niece wanting to become an actress. "I told her I thought she should enjoy being a kid, possibly go to college -- or not -- but wait till she turns 18. She's a very tough, smart girl. But it's a cutthroat industry. I wouldn't want my child to do it."
