The police report on what took place Friday night when Paris Hilton got arrested for alleged cocaine possession has been released. According to police, the latest excuse from the socialite is that she thought the cocaine was gum.

The car Paris was riding in got stopped Friday night because a motorcycle cop smelled marijuana smoke from its window. The driver, Paris' boyfriend Cy Waits, got busted for DUI and while the police were going through their investigation Paris asked to go into the Wynn Hotel to use the restroom.
Once inside a holding room at the hotel, Paris took out a tube of lip balm from her purse and a "small bindle of what [the officer] believed to be cocaine in a clear baggy", the report stated. The heiress then said that the purse belonged to a friend.

According to police the cocaine amounted to 0.8 grams, which is enough for a felony charge. When they asked Paris who the cocaine belonged to they claim she answered that "she had not seen it, but now thought it was gum."
At that point the starlet got arrested and taken to jail. Paris was later released, but today charges were filed against her for drug possession. She could face anything from probation to a maximum of four years in jail, depending on what the judge will rule on.

SHe is one dumb criminal--but most criminals are pretty dumb.
No, no jail but maybe community service picking up trash on highways 5 days a week, 4-6 hours a day for 3 months if no proof that she had it in her system.
