More bad news for Paris Hilton: her boyfriend Cy Waits has lost his job. Could this spell the beginning of the end for the couple, who have only been dating since June?
Twenty-nine year old Paris Hilton and her 34-year-old boyfriend Cy Waits were arrested on Friday, August 28, 2010. When police officers stopped Waits on Friday night, they observed the odor of marijuana coming from his open windows. Hilton was a passenger in the car at the time.
Paris Hilton was arrested for alleged possession of cocaine after the substance was found in a purse which was in her possession. Her boyfriend Cy Waits failed a sobriety test, but charges have not been filed against him at this time.
In spite of Paris Hilton's protestations that the purse was not hers, and that she thought the cocaine was actually gum, Wynn Las Vegas and Encore have decided to sever all ties with the Hilton Hotel heiress. Hilton has been banned from both resorts.
According to People magazine:
Coinciding with the ban, Wynn Las Vegas also announced in a vague statement that Hilton's boyfriend, nightclub executive Cy Waits, has been "separated from the company and is free to pursue other interests." No further comment or details was provided.
In other Paris Hilton news, her arrest and subsequent banishment from Las Vegas resorts Wynn and Encore have not diminished her love of her new hobby--scrapbooking. The businesswoman has taken to Twitter to promote her new line of scrapbooking supplies. Read more here:
