Paris Hilton and boyfriend River Viiperi hit Barcelona, Spain this week, where the Spanish model has several high-class fashion gigs. Paris, herself, stayed in the background at Monday’s Mango show – almost incognito, reports India Times on Wednesday, Jan. 30.
Paris Hilton went backstage, among the models, and she stayed totally anonymous. Although she snagged a front row seat, she did not pass through the “photocall,” where the rich and famous front-row guests make sure they are seen and photographed. Instead, she slipped in late, after the lights went down, to see the most recent Paris Hilton boyfriend strut the catwalks.
Why is Paris Hilton, 31, maintaining such a discreet attitude with this new boyfriend? Viiperi, 21, is gorgeous, of course. Perhaps she simply did not want to steal any of his limelight. That would be her thoughtful side showing.
The American heiress wore a red suit – not the best choice for a person who wishes to stay anonymous. But perhaps her plan was to stay in the background, but not to completely disappear. Maybe her idea was to look quietly gorgeous herself, while her arm candy showed off on the runway.
River Viiperi, the Paris Hilton boyfriend of this year, has been dating her since September. His career, at the same time, is beginning to take off. Maybe there is some sort of connection. Spending time with the rich can open doors to fame. Remember Kim Kardashian?
