Paris Hilton admits she's paid more than her talent deserves

Paris Hilton's journey from reality TV star to DJ is going quite well. So well in fact that she rakes in a lot of money, much more money than her talent warrants. As reported by The New York Post on Saturday, Feb. 8, she admitted that while she's not the best, she's paid like she is.

Paris denied reports that she claims to be the best DJ in the world. Nonetheless, she gets paid more than others.

“The media always ends up twisting my words. What I said was, I am probably the highest paid DJ — not that I’m the best DJ in the world," she told the newspaper while at a fashion presentation.

Of course, while she's not the best, she likely brings in the crowds.

Besides watching her spin records at top clubs all around the world, fans may soon be able to get their hands on another Paris CD as she signed with Lil Wayne’s Cash Money Records last May.

“I have been friends with Baby and Lil Wayne for years. Now I feel like I’m a part of the family," she said.

Her next big DJ gig is actually in just a few days. She will DJ at her own birthday party, held at Los Angeles's Greystone Manor, on Saturday, Feb. 15.
