A set of parents had their daughters arrested in Connecticut after a couple of big parties were thrown. My Fox Philly shared the details of the story on Oct. 24.
The two girls, ages 15 and 16, had parties Friday and Saturday nights while their parents were out of town. The parents returned a day early, Sunday instead of Monday, and discovered what the girls had been doing while they were away. Rather than just ground them or take away their phones, the parents had the daughters arrested.
According to CT Now, the two girls face charges of permitting a minor to possess alcohol. Since they are minors, their names have not been released. The teens reportedly had anywhere from 10 to 30 other teens at the house both nights, and it seems they had been trying to get another party started Sunday when they got caught.
Some teens ran from the house while others stayed put, prompting the parents to have their daughters arrested. The officer involved said it was “the right thing to do.”
