Parents have daughters arrested for underage drinking? It almost sounds like something out of a Lifetime movie. Two parents had their teenage daughters arrested in Glastonbury, Conn., after they found out that the pair was hosting a big house party. According to a report from Wednesday (Oct. 23), the parents had come back early from vacation only to discover what had been going on.
Apparently they were very shocked to discover that 20 to 30 kids were drinking at their home, especially since their girls are only 15 and 16. Though none of the names of the kids in attendance have been released, it was confirmed that the girls were both charged with permitting a minor to possess alcohol. This was also apparently the third straight night that the partying had been going on, something which could not have been expected.
This is definitely a case where kids are not being coddled for their transgressions and where these two girls are going to suffer consequences for breaking the law. That these two parents called the police to have their daughters arrested also sends a message to others that this type of behavior should never be condoned or acceptable from teens. How far the case gets taken is another question.
