Will the Parenthood TV show be cancelled in 2014? According to The Daily Beast on April 9, this is one of five shows that should NOT be on the list when the official roster of cancellations comes out. Many programs are predicted as renewals, but there are those few still "on the bubble" that could go either way.
As Beast points out, Parenthood is a family drama that has great acting and is relatable. There aren't any grotesque scenes in the show and it provides its share of laughter. It's a rarity for any of the major networks to have a truly good family drama, but NBC has a great one with this show and millions hope it'll continue airing.
Besides Parenthood being one of the TV shows possibly being cancelled in 2014, other ones include Hannibal, About a Boy, Trophy Wife, and Growing Up Fisher.
TVbyTheNumbers listed The 100, Unforgettable, and Friends with Better Lives as other shows "on the bubble." Of course, this doesn't mean that those shows -- in addition to Parenthood -- will be the shows cancelled on the 2014 list in May. It's definitely a stressful time of year for television fans and cast of the shows. Even the stars on a show believed to be renewed are a bit anxious because there's never any guarantee the networks will renew it. Show business can be a fickle thing, after all.
The fact that Parenthood is one TV show that could be cancelled in 2014, it also means it could be renewed. Think positive!
