Viewers have been waiting on news about "Parenthood" and the news is finally here. On Sunday, TV Line shared the news that this season was officially picked up for season six and will be coming back again. Every single season it is on the bubble and somehow it just keeps coming back again. Fans love it and can't get enough.

This show will still be airing on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. on NBC. This sixth season will be a short season though with only 13 episodes. A lot of shows get a longer season which includes 22 or 24 episodes. Viewers are just happy to know that this one will be coming back at all. More than likely it will be the final season of the show, but they have not actually announced that part yet.

The Hollywood Reporter shared that they had the cast take a pay cut to make this work. They will each only be in some of the episodes. Every single cast member was picked up for 11 episodes, but 13 will air next year. The main cast of the show will appear in 11 of 13 episodes to help save money on filming. This means that your favorite will not be on two episodes of the season, but you will still get to see a lot of them.

There is a lot of speculation out there that this is the final season, but it doesn't look NBC has confirmed that yet. With some actors taking a pay cut and the show only getting half of a season, it is very easy to assume that it will be the last season. Hopefully they will confirm this for sure pretty soon.

Don't miss "Parenthood" when it returns in the fall to NBC. This season will be a great one that will air in the 2014-2015 season. There is no actual return date yet.
