On October 21, 2011, Paranormal Review Radio began broadcasting on Blogtalk. What started as a small online radio show among countless others, this weekly gathering of like minds has grown into one the most popular destinations for paranormal news, guests and topics that open your eyes and makes you think outside the borders of daily life.
Hosted by paranormal investigators and researchers, Anthony Agate and Luci Leibfried, the show will be celebrating its second anniversary with a special show airing on October 18th, 2013.
The idea of the show began as conversation on the things the two love the most, the unknown and the paranormal. It has grown into a gathering of listeners and friends who meet weekly on air to ask questions about topics like UFO’s, spirits and haunted locations, the afterlife, cryptids, astral projection...the list goes on and on. With only a Facebook page, You Tube Channel and a Twitter feed, the show has amassed over 10k subscribers nationally here in the US and globally.
“The show covers what Anthony and I talk about every day, we just happen to have added a few friends to the mix.” says Luci. Anthony added, “We don’t do the corny music or chatter that you normally hear, we get into the topic and really let our guests speak and discuss the subject in depth.”
Some of those guests have included an exclusive interview with Ryan Buell. It was his first paranormal radio interview since he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The show has also welcomed Ben Hansen, Amy Allen and Steve Di Schiavi of the Dead Files, Stanton Friedman and Kathleen Marsden, Mike Bara, Andrea Perron, who lived the Conjuring, Jaxon Haxton, the current owner of the Dibbuk box, Mark and Debby Constantino, The Ghost Mine crew, the Deep South Paranormal crew, Bishop James Long, Marie D Jones, Aaron Sagers, the late Carol Sabick De La Herren of the Monroe Institute and many more.
Paranormal Review has also explored many topics, some controversial and eye opening. From Voodoo to the Origins of Religion, Petrus Romanus: the last Pope, the End of the World, to an evening of psychic predictions with world famous medium, Robyne Marie, Bigfoot, Black Eyed Kids with David Weatherly, Anthony and Luci are not afraid to talk about the things that are of interest to the paranormal community, but also to others outside the community. "Our show on the Origins of Religion, gave us a lot of feedback, and not all of it was positive. That's what we want, we want people to think, to search out the truth themselves and not just take what is said in the media as gospel."
But even with all of the amazing guests that Paranormal Review Radio has brought to the show, Anthony and Luci went one step further to make their show one of the best paranormal shows there is. They have featured live broadcasts during their own paranormal investigations at some of the most active locations around. The show has been heard live from the Villisca Axe Murder House. Prospect Place Mansion, Poasttown Elementary School and Fort Mifflin.
Anthony had this to say about the show: “You know Luci and I have been into the paranormal for a total of 12 years combined. We never began this path to follow anyone or to chase after things many people feel we should be chasing. We started this journey because things happened in both our lives that made us question. It made us question and ask why. This inquisitive nature that we both share allowed us to research and set out to find the answers to what affected us years ago. This paranormal world is filled with all kinds of searchers. Some search for fun. Some search for fame. Some search for money. This has never even crossed our minds nor has it ever been on our life list. We search for the truth. We search for answers. We search to find people who share our agenda. We completely understand that what we search for may never be found…but as we head out each day tackling the questions and receiving more, it only makes this life in the paranormal that more rewarding and that more confirming." Luci added: "The best is yet to come. There are topics and locations, that we still need to explore. We want to thank our listeners for supporting us and making every Friday night the best night of the week.”
This Friday night, October 18th, Paranormal Review Radio is celebrating with a poll of the 10 most popular shows they have done for the past two years. Listeners can vote for their favorite one on the list and the results will be announced live on air during the show. The guest from the winning show will make an appearance that night. The shows promises to be a wonderful look back at the best and not so great moments and a look to the things to come for the show.
Paranormal Review Radio can be heard every Friday night on Blogtalk Radio at 10 pm Eastern / 9 pm Central / 7 pm Pacific. You can also follow the show on their Facebook page, Twitter and on the show’s You Tube Channel.
