Tonight, paranormal investigator, Jackie Tomlin will air on Animal Planet at 8pm EDT and 11pm EDT Friday, April 8, 2011, as she and her team at CVAPI investigates a family who believes they have been visited by a negative and terrorizing ghostly entity. Jackie founded the Central Virginia Paranormal Investigators for people just like this family who claim they have been attacked, become ill and hospitalized from these events.
The family contacted Jackie after they moved out of their home in hopes she and her team could rid themselves of this horrible spirit. CVAPI has experts on board from psychic mediums, clergy, demonology experts and psychologists to cover every angle during their investigations with state-of-the-art cameras and test equipment.
This particular case is very similar to the famous Amityville Horror and the Lutz family documented by author Jay Anson in a book and later made into the movie. When the family realized that they were under similar attacks as had previously happened where six members of a family were murdered in the same house, they moved as a result of being scared almost to death.
The investigation takes place at the Maitland family home in Chester, VA. They are the typical American family with three children ages 3, 8 and 12 years old. Toby, the father is an electrician, kids’ football coach and his wife, Sarah a stay-at-home mother. They have lived in their home for 3 years and the entire family has had negative paranormal experiences which caused them to vacate their home.
CVAPI was called in after the family had moved out of their home and brought in demonologist Dwayne Claud who has worked with them on other similar cases. There has been shaking beds, horrid smells and physical attacks on the family and their in-laws making this a particularly interesting case.
Tonight’s show on Animal Planet promises to be a thriller as they bring in the camera’s, sound recording devices and other high test equipment to document the presence of a very peculiar, negative entity. Since the show was filmed, the family has moved back into the home and their health has returned to normal after being hospitalized.
