This weekend the Paranormal Sense will be held in downtown Topeka at the Field of Greens. The Paranormal Sense is a forum presented by Ghost Tours of Kansas, LLC that allows enthusiasts of the paranormal, metaphysical, and spiritual to come together and share their skills, products, and services with others that share in their interests.
Guest speakers for this event include an area psychic that will be conducting a live channeling session with attendees. At the end of the evening, she will also be available for one-on-one Tarot readings.
Louie Creek, president of the Topeka Chapter Kansas Karnage Horror Club, will discuss the history of horror films. He will be discussing both new and classic films. He will also share information about what is happening in the club and some of the events they have throughout the year.
Cathy Ramirez, the owner of Ghost Tours of Kansas and author of the popular book, “Where’s the Ghost, The Trials and Tribulations of Ghost Hunting,” will be sharing about her book and signing while she is there. Don’t worry; the book will be available for purchase during the event.
Other special guests that evening will include some of the Kansas Paranormal Research Society (KPRS) team members. They will be on hand to answer questions about investigations, equipment, and evidence they have collected at some of the locations they have investigated.
Field of Greens is one of many haunted historic buildings in downtown Topeka. Be sure to take a camera and snap a few shots, you never know what may appear in your photos. KPRS investigators recommend taking three photos in a row of each spot you photograph, this offers the best evidence if you do catch something in a photo.
