The decision to use a Ouija board during a paranormal investigations is one that has been debated by many ghost hunters. Some will swear this is the best way to contact spirits and prove there is paranormal activitiy at a location. However, they attract bad spirits and open doors you may not want opened or are able to close back up. This is why many paranormal organizations believe it is a good idea to avoid using Ouija boards during an investigation.
I have to agree.
The use of a Ouija board can invite unwanted spirits into your home, a location and your life. So what is an unwanted spirit? It is demonic in nature and very malevolent. These spirits are spiteful, aggressive and can cause both physical and philological damage to you and your team.
A Ouija board is a tool that has been used throughout the centuries in divination practices. The board is marked with letters, numbers, “yes,” “no” and symbols. The user’s fingers are placed on the planchette which is believed to move around the board by spirits after being asked questions.
The Ouija board as an invitation. When used it essentially invites spirits to communicate with you thus leading to the user losing control. There is no rhyme or reason as to which spirit will respond and it leaves the door open for those demonic sprits to walk right in and never leave.
Once you allow a demonic entity to enter your life you will have a difficult time getting rid of it. Demonic spirits cannot be forced to leave, they must be reasoned with and convinced leaving is best for them. Which is just as difficult as it sounds. They are stubborn spirits which plan to cause harm whenever possible.
If I shouldn’t use it, what do I do with an old Ouija board? Destroy it! Do not throw it away, give it away or donate it to a thrift store. This is not a toy and many think it is funny to see what happens. End the trail of evil temptation by burning the board. If you are not comfortable with destroying the board contact a local paranormal group, which will help you with the disposal process.
Not every paranormal investigator has had bad experiences with Ouija boards. But as with everything else in life, there are always a few bad apples in the bunch and many do not want to take their chances and find one.
Happy Haunting!!
