Back in the golden age of Hollywood, studios would gather together their biggest stars for a photo. This photo was then distributed to all of the news outlets of the time.
These photos were highly anticipated because it was rare to see such stars as Clark Gable, Myrna Loy and Jean Harlow all in the same photo with many, many other stars. It was also customary to add a starlet that the studio was pushing. Sometime the starlet caught on and the photo became a cinephiles dream, other times that person just faded away and was never heard from again.
Paramount studios has brought back this charming event to celebrate their 100th anniversary as a studio.
