On Episode 1 (March 17, 2014), Purdy and Hough scored 24/30 for their sultry Cha Cha Cha. On Episode 2 (March 24, 2014), Purdy and Hough again scored 24/30 by dancing an enthusiastic and entertaining Swing dance.
Tonight, all of the stars were dancing to the most memorable year of their lives. Purdy’s contemporary dance was symbolic of the journey she went through when she was first learning how to walk on prosthetics--of her falling and her father catching her. In addition to Purdy’s touching story, what made the dance even more amazing what that she was dancing on new legs. According to ABC News, Amy’s new prosthetics have feet that were actually made for swimming. But there was no evidence of them being unsuitable or awkward in tonight’s performance. Purdy and Hough scored 36/40 with their emotional dance.
