On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Paradise Hills Library will hold a Readers and Writers Fair that includes talks by New York Times bestselling author Caitlin Rother, marketing expert Penny Sansevieri, and San Diego author Terry Ambrose. There will be 10 other authors attending including local favorites Tom Matthews, author of "Rejection," and Teresa Burrell, author of The Advocate series.
David Lucero, the event organizer, called this “An event for readers and writers..." Lucero worked in conjunction with Branch Manager Shaun Briley to bring the event to the library. Briley said, “The San Diego Public Library is very excited about this event.”
Activities will start at 10 a.m. and run until 1 p.m. Caitlin Rother will be the first speaker and will begin at 10:15 a.m. Rother is best known for her true-crime novels based on interviews with high-profile criminals. At 10:45 a.m., the discussion will turn from true crime to the world of mystery and suspense novels when I talk about how fiction writers can use a nonfiction platform to gain visibility. At 11:15 a.m., Penny Sansevieri will discuss how authors can best market their books.
In addition to the speakers, other authors will include Sarah Bates, Teresa Burrell, Shari Lynn Brown, Paul R. De Lancy, Jeff Edwards, William Hesselbacher, Jenny Hilborne, David Lucero, Thomas Matthews, and Brae Wyckoff.
