The Texas Volunteer Firefighters Relief Fund (http://tvffrf.org/) will host its 14th Annual "Parade of Lights" on Sunday, December 4th, 2011 at 6pm. TVFFRF is a 501(c)3 organization, the TVFFRF offers assistance to firefighter's in need. Funding is provided by those who contribute donations through a variety of venues, including our yearly "Parade of Lights" in Northwest Harris County, Texas. The parade route starts in the 4000 block of Hwy 6 North and will end at the Cypress Falls High School parking lot located on Huffmeister Road before Hempstead Highway.
You will want to make sure and come early before the parade for the Family Block Party hosted by Bear Creek United Methodist Church (http://bearcreekumc.org/)! This annual event is put on by the church to offer FREE family friendly activities and FREE food in the Wal-Mart Neighborhood parking lot located at 4810 Highway 6 N, Houston, TX 77084 from 4-6pm. The Block Party will feature FREE entertainment from a variety of groups, free hot dogs, drinks, plus arts & crafts tables and a cookie decorating table for the kids! Don't forget to bring your camera to snap a picture of the kids with Santa! He will be there to visit with all the good boys and girls and hand out candy canes!
So make sure you come at 4pm on Sunday with all your family and friends to the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market to celebrate Christmas with the tradition of the BCUMC Block Party and then sit back and enjoy the Parade of Lights! Merry Christmas to y'all!
