A paper signed by Dorothy (Dot) Moore, a former host for local TV programs produced by WALA-TV, and dated December 17th, 1975 (a Wednesday), was offered for sale on the World Wide Web site eBay recently by an eBay user under the name "1043sunset". The paper included a personal message (or memorandum) to Paul Denis, who was an editor for the publication Daytime TV in 1975, logos for WALA-TV, the name of the company that owned the station in 1975 (Universal Communications Corporation), and the post office box number for the station.
The description of the item on eBay said the seller obtained it after purchasing part of the estate of Paul Denis (he died in 1997) and said there were plans to sell other items obtained from the estate.
