A paparazzo has paid the price of his life for photos of Justin Bieber's Ferrari. In an article today, Jan. 2, 2013, Kevin Winter has reported for Rolling Stone, Paparazzi Killed While Trailing Justin Bieber's Ferrari. A paparazzo photographer was hit by a vehicle and killed in Los Angeles as he was returning to his car after snapping photos of Justin's Ferrari. Justin's car was being driven by a friend at the time.
Justin has a tense relationship with paparazzi. Last May, Justin was accused of punching and kicking a photographer in a parking lot scuffle, although all charges were dropped. And in July, a high-speed chase between Bieber and a photographer led to new anti- paparazzi laws which penalize photographers for driving dangerously to take photographs. Still, Justin has offered his condolences to the photographer's family. He has said, "While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim."
ABC news has reported Justin is hoping this incident will put a stop to dangerous chases. ABC news has reported, Justin Bieber Hopes Photog’s Death Stops Dangerous Chases.
Justin has said, “Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves."
