No butts about it..."Jersey Shore" star JWoWW is apologizing for what she calls a 'vile' shot of her bum taken during MTV's live New Year's Eve special. Three days after hosting the special and having the upskirt photo of her bum go viral, JWoWW apologized today (Friday) for the unattractive shot of what appeared to be her panty-less backside.

Along with the apology, JWoWW makes it clear the photo is not what it seems. "I forever wear underwear -- so whoever photoshopped that at least you could have put some drawers on me and at least you could have added my tattoo," JWoWW states. To further prove her point and defend her backside -- wearing only a sweatshirt, lace underwear, and high heels -- JWoWW recorded a video stating:
"Sorry for my appearance. But it has come to my attention that there is a picture of my derriere going around that looks pretty vile. To prove this picture wrong, I decided to video my buttocks ... because you can't Photoshop a video. Here's my butt, here's my butt like it's supposed to be the picture. And FYI I did not pull a Britney Spears and don't wear underwear....I know it's not Victoria's Secret, but it's mine and it took a lot of donuts and cheeseburgers to get this!"
While it may not be the type of publicity JWoWW would have liked, her unflattering upskirt, first published by Daily Mail, is creating a buzz. Considering her "Jersey Shore" spin-off "Snooki & JWoWW 2" premieres Tuesday, January 8 at 10 p.m. on MTV - there's no such thing as bad publicity.
