Going into the second half of the class AA championship game between the Braham Bombers and the new Richland-Hartland-Ellendale Geneva Panthers, several fans gave their reactions to the team's top player Carlie Wagner.
From Darla and Steve Skalisky of Ellendale "She's been a great example on the basketball team as well as the community. Represents all four communities well. Always congratulates and includes her team.
next up was Troy Utpadel of Geneva who simply summed it up. "She's a star" On the possibility of Carlie Wagner playing for the Gophers "I think it's awesome. I can't wait."
Last was Joann Proehl of Carlie's home town of New Richland. "She's a very good person. There's nobody any better."
