Pantages Theatre date for the LA couple

One of my favorite dates I have ever been on involved dinner, drinks and second row seats to the theatre! As locals living in Los Angeles, we're privileged to many live theaters in the area. My preference? The Pantages Theatre, and boy do they have a great line-up this summer!

Located in the heart of Hollywood at 6233 Hollywood Boulevard 90028 in Los Angeles, the Pantages Theatre offers theatre-goers a real treat with every visit. Currently, the theatre has been showing the 2008 Best Musical Toni Award Winner, "In the Heights." a show about discovering your dreams and making them come true. And with this show, the Toni Award winning actor, Lin-Manuel Miranda is once again starring in it for all us lucky Los Angeleans! For more information about "In the Heights" please click on the following site: http://www.broadwayla.org/production/show.info.asp?ID=27. The show has been running since June 22nd, but it won't last forever. July 25 will be it's last showing at the Pantages.

Can't make it to the theatre by the 25th? Don't fret my friends. The Pantages Theatre has another great musical just around the corner (or should I say, around the curtain)? Beginning July 27th, the 2008 winner of the Outer Critics Circles Award, "Young Frankenstein" will hit the stage! You and your other half can catch Frankenstein perform this summer until it's closing date, August 8th. Followed by the ultra famous, "Phantom of the Opera' which begins September 23rd through October 17th.

Tickets range from about $20 to $85 depending on the show and the vender you chose to purchase. You can get a good feel for the prices and seating through the Pantages Theatre homepage at: http://www.broadwayla.org/index.asp

From my experience, live theatre makes for a great date! It's original, great for a random weekend date and even better for a special occasion. You're bound to have a great time and most importantly, you two will share a wonderful experience together, cause let's face it, there really is "no business like show business!"

I'll see you at the show!
