Panini makes Aaron Rodgers Super Bowl used pylon cards for Black Friday

With the Green Bay Packers flying high and just decimating everybody in their path, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is quickly becoming the NFL's signature star.  Not bad for somebody who used to just hold Brett Favre's clipboard.  Panini is getting on board with this year's MVP frontrunner by highlighting his inclusion in 2011 Black Friday, a special one-off product that is only available at Panini-designated hobby shops.

The big hit from the product will be Super Bowl-used pylon cards.  The big red end zone pieces are unique in that they also feature plenty of Super Bowl-related iconography that makes them standout from the ones we typically see on a typical NFL Sunday.  Randomly inserted in packs will be cards with a piece of the pylong embedded on the card.  There will be autographed versions as well, although Panini only revealed the Rodgers autograph.

Panini's Black Friday promotion is their latest attempt to bring people back into hobby shops.  By purchasing Panini products in-store, customers will be eligible to receive Black Friday packs that might yield the Rodgers card.  Other hits include autographs by Denever Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow and Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant (although Bryant's inclusion is up in the air because of the ongoing lockout).
