In an announcement yesterday, video game publisher XSEED Games revealed that they would be bringing the long awaited Nintendo Wii title, “Pandora’s Tower”, to North America this Spring.
“Pandora’s Tower” was developed by Japanese developer Ganbarion in conjunction with Nintendo and saw a Nintendo Wii release in Japan in 2011. After plenty of fans made their wish known, it seems that XSEED Games was finally able to reach a deal with Nintendo to publish the game here.
The game follows an ex-mercenary named Aeron, who must journey into a massive chasm called The Scar and battle his way through thirteen towers in order to extract flesh from each of the tower’s boss “masters”. He must do this because Elena, the woman Aeron has pledged his love to, is cursed and slowly turning into a monster, with the only cure being the monster’s flesh. The problem is that Elena’s transformation has a time limit and the longer Aeron takes, the more it will affect the game’s outcome.
“Pandora’s Tower” will be released exclusively for the Nintendo Wii this Spring by XSEED Games. No official date has been given but the publisher will be releasing more details in the coming months.
