What a fun combination Zoo Atlanta has put together for adults - Pandas and Pinots, with the event Wild on the Rocks tomorrow, Thursday, May 8. This event is part of Zoo Atlanta's summer series which happens the second Thursday each month. Each event features a special exhibit, cocktails, live music, food trucks, special zoo keeper presentation and the cool vibe of being surrounded by the wild at night. Fun fact: Zoo Atlanta's pandas, Mei Lun and Mei Huan, are the only giant panda twins in the U.S. Also at the zoo are their parents and the gorgeous red panda, Idgie. Pandas and Pinots May 8, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. • Featured beverages are pinot grigio and pinot noir; beer, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Your ticket includes one complimentary beverage! • Enjoy the folk-rock, home-grown Georgia sound of Destitute Way • Yumbii Food Truck, MetroCity Dogs and Atomic Ice Cream will be serving it up all night long (not included with ticket price). • Local artists Morgan Kendall and Priscilla Fritsch will be on hand with animal-inspired prints, pillows and unique jewelry (and available for purchase –think about Mother’s Day!).
