Pamper thyself this Valentines's Day

See also

Valentine’s Day can be tricky for the fairer sex…..

If you find yourself a singleton this year and can’t bear to be surrounded by smug marrieds, you’ll probably end up on the couch with a box of tissues watching sappy movies about unrequited love.

If you’re madly in love, but your partner is allergic to flowers, doesn’t do displays of affection and refuses to shop for lingerie, you’ll spend the most romantic night of the year in the local sports bar.

If you have a wonderful, thoughtful partner, prepare to be feted with roses, chocolate, couple’s massage, dinner and maybe a little dancing. (FYI: Snopes has declared this an urban myth.)

If you want to be treated like the queen that you are, it’s time to take control.

Show yourself some love with a fabulous day of pampering and shopping at South Bay Galleria’s first annual Anti-Valentine’s Pamper Thyself Event on Saturday, February 8.

This free, all day event will feature special sales, giveaways, makeovers, mini-massages, complimentary refreshments and a fun Instagram contest.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests are invited to check-in at the third level Food Court where they will receive a $10 South Bay Galleria gift card (limited to the first 100 people) and a list of participating stores.

In addition, South Bay Galleria will be conducting a special Instagram contest during the event, where guests may enter to win various prizes.

To enter, guests are invited to post an Instagram picture of themselves and their friends at the Anti-Valentine’s Day event enjoying the various promotions. Contest participants must follow @southbaygalleria and tag that handle in their post, with the hashtag #AntiValentineSBG.
Photos taken at the event and submitted by Saturday, February 8 will be eligible to win special prizes.

For additional information, visit the website at http://www.southbaygalleria.com/ or call 310-371-7546.

South Bay Galleria is located at 1815 Hawthorne Boulevard in Redondo Beach.
