Actress, model and former Playboy Playmate Pamela Anderson revealed during a fundraiser for the Cannes Film Festival today that she suffered several incidents of molestation and sexual abuse at a young age.

According to Anderson she was molested at age six by a female babysitter and from there she was raped at age 12 by a 25 year old brother of her friend's boyfriend. Anderson would also say that a few years after that episode she was gang-raped by her then boyfriend and six of his friends.

"I wanted off this earth," Anderson said after the gang-rape incident.

Even with all the events of her childhood Anderson seems content with showing off her body, especially her bosom, which was on display quite often in the low-cut Vivienne Westwood dress she wore, with may witnesses saying there were several "nip slips."

Anderson starred in many sitcoms and shows over the years including "Tool Time" and "Baywatch" but she is most infamous for launching the celebrity sex tape phenomenon with the release of her honeymoon tape with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and subsequently another tape with Poison singer Bret Michaels surfaced which was thought to have been a precursor to the Tommy Lee tape.

The four times married Anderson (Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and Rick Salomon twice) claims she parlayed her sexual abuse into being an advocate for animals and a major supporter of PETA.

"This (the sexual abuse) meant I had a hard time trusting humans," she said. "My loyalty was to the animal kingdom. I vowed to protect them and only them."

Playboy has often been Anderson's savior and biggest supporter making the 46 year old star a Playmate several times over and she has been on more Playboy covers than anyone in history.

Anderson is still considered among the most beautiful and desirable stars in the world.
