Laurence Hallier is suing Canadian actress Pamela Anderson claiming that she did not fulfill her part of a contract made between the pair.
Anderson says that she and Hallier had a contract stating that the ‘Baywatch’ star would help sell his Las Vegas condos, Panorama Towers and in exchange he would give Anderson either a condo or $1 million. Anderson originally sued Hallier saying that she fulfilled her part of the deal, but he never gave her the money or the condo.
Hallier has recently launched a countersuit against the Canadian beauty saying that Anderson did not keep her end of the deal claiming that she did not show up for the personal appearances and did not help sell condos, therefore she should not be entitled to the previously promised condo or the money. Hallier said Anderson cost him $22.5 million in unsold units because she did not show up for the appearances.
Anderson’s lawyer, A. Douglas Mastroianni spoke exclusively to TMZ about the situation involving Hallier’s countersuit saying;
“Pamela Anderson is not any more responsible for the failure of this real estate project than she is responsible for the 2008 real estate downturn or the collapse of Lehman Brothers. The counterclaim is an attempt at publicity, filed by a defendant who reveled in utterly false rumors that he was romantically involved with Ms. Anderson while she was promoting his failed real estate project in London, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas."
Hallier has had success in the past with celebrities selling his condo units. Leonardo DiCaprio has worked with Hallier and helped him sell 100 condos for Panorama Towers.
