Paltrow divorce: Couple still live together following divorce announcement

The Paltrow divorce from Coldplay singer Chris Martin is back in the news. Fans are now wondering if the Paltrow and Martin have put their divorce on hold. Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced they were "uncoupling" back in March, but it doesn't appear that the couple has made any real move to separate. Paltrow and Martin still live together, and they are still seen out and about together on the weekends. Paltrow has not even removed her wedding ring. AZcentral shared the latest news on the couple and their reported divorce on June 15.

Paltrow was the first to announce the couple's plans to divorce on her Goop site. Even immediately following that announcement, the actress kept her wedding ring on her finger. She was photographed with it while out and about, and she even had it on her finger when she shared a photo of her son Moses on his birthday on Instagram. The fact that she did not remove her ring did cause a lot of fan speculation.

These new reports are doing the same. The couple have been married for 10 years, and they have two children together. Apple is 10 years old, and Moses is eight years old. Paltrow has told sources that she and Chris are staying so close right now for the sake of the children. They want things to be "consistent" and "stable" for the children. That includes not dating other people and living together. Does that also mean acting lovey-dovey in public though? Sources have seen the couple "giggling" over dinner together recently. That shows that the couple is still close.

Does it mean they are back together and working on their marriage? One source close to the couple said the following: "It's true they had problems but in the weirdest way this 'conscious uncoupling' situation has relieved the pressure on them. Gwyneth had ground rules about not immediately dating, respecting each other, keeping things happy for their two children and communicating throughout but it seems to have acted as a wake-up call."

The source went on to say that they wouldn't be surprised if the couple did get back together. However, a representative for the actress has now spoken out about the recent reports, and they have denied them. The rep said the following, according to SeattlePI.com: "You will many times see them together, as they are raising two children. I don’t know why that is surprising since they were very clear when they announced their break-up that they were still very much a family, just not a couple."

From the reports, it is obvious that Paltrow and Martin are still on good terms. Does that mean they are back together? Probably not. The only people that know the status of their relationship are the couple themselves. They both lead busy lives, but their first priority seems to be their children. That is how it should be.

What do you think? Are you surprised that Paltrow and Martin are so close following their divorce announcement? Would you still live with your ex after such an announcement? Share your thoughts below.
