Palm Bay shooting: Man critically wounded in fight on Florida college campus

Palm Bay shooting wounds one man critically in a fight on a Florida college campus. Two others on the Palm Bay Campus of Eastern Florida State College attacked a man. After the attack the man being beat upon shot one of his attackers after getting a gun from his car. According to The Christian Science Monitor on Jan. 30, the man who was shot was 20 years old.

A college spokesman says the campus was placed on lockdown, and all classes were canceled for the rest of the day.

Palm Bay shooting was the result of two men attacking another. The man who was attacked went to his car and got a gun. He then turned the gun on his attackers injuring one of them. According to police both the shooter and the critcally injured man who was shot went to the hospital for their injuries.

Police are questioning the second attacker in the Palm Bay shooting. The shooting occurred in the parking lot on campus. The Palm Bay Campus of Eastern Florida State College is located in Brevard County.
