Palin to become thorn in the sides of Obama and Pelosi?

Although the prima donnas in the media in New York and Washington continue to bash Sarah Palin for resigning as governor of Alaska, they may be missing the point that she will be like a nettle under the collars of Obama and Pelosi.  One thing is certain---she certainly knows how to make news.

In an interview with the Washington Times on July 12, 2009, she was quoted as saying that

I will go around the country on behalf of candidates who believe in the right things, regardless of party label or affiliation.

So it should be no surprise that, since she usually draws crowds of thousands, even as many as 20,000 at a time, she will be taking on issues that may be already causing anxiety among the American public.  It should not be unexpected that her targets will be House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Barack Obama and the trillions of dollars of debt that has been piled up since the latter took offic

Palin did not name any politicians for whom she would campaign as yet, but the issues that she will talk about have,  according to recent polls, lost the confidence of voters.  While governor of Alaska, she could not talk about some of them but now as a private citizen, she may take on big government, taxing and spending, earmarks, the corruption of half a dozen Democrats who remain in office even though tainted, to name just a few  of them. It should be no surprise that speaking engagements are already being offered, some from unexpected places.

With the polls showing that more Americans are leaning politically conservative, the issues that Palin will talk about may find a negative response from the Political Elite, but a positive one from many voters who are becoming fed up with the Pelosi and Obama.

Perhaps the test of Palin's magnetism will be the 2010 congressional elections when so many seats in the House of Representative and the Senate are at stake.  If she continues to draw crowds, while the lap dogs among the press ignore her, voters will turn to the Internet to learn about the issues and politicians that she will be pinpointing.

What the impact of a free-wheeling Sarah Palin will have as she shines the light on Pelosi and Obama, at a time when both have falling poll numbers, will have on their approval ratings, is yet to be seen.  But anyone who counts her out may be surprised as she becomes the thorn in the sides of the politicians that voted for bailouts, stimulus packages, cap and trade, and perhaps even a health bill that taxes Americans even further.  It could be that the after the 2010 election, perhaps it will end the Pelosi-Obama control that many believe has spelled disaster for the United States for generations to come

Whatever the future holds for Sarah Palin, one thing is certain: she will not go quietly into the night. In fact, she could be Pelosi and Obama's worse nightmare.

Sarah Palin is destined to join the ranks of Limbaugh, Coulter, Hannity, Beck, etc. As annoying as these voices may be, they have hardly been a nightmare for Obama and Pelosi and they never will be.

Look at the list of your recent posts!! This is cheerleading............pathetic cheerleading at that.

Man if you so much as utter the word Palin the cockroaches scurry from under the cabinets. Hahaha, me thinks the commies are skeered of Palin.

Limbaugh, Coulter, Hannity, and Beck are entertainers. This especially applies to Beck. No one takes him seriously and this includes Beck himself. To assume that Palin is automatically going to join the ranks of people such as this is quite premature. No one knows what Sarah Palin is going to do next. But I just don't see her doing what these people that have been mentioned are doing. Of course, I could be wrong. However, I do seriously doubt she'll be running for public office again. Whatever she does, it seems she would like to do something that would be more on her own terms.

Keep writing about Palin Martha. It is fun to watch these pansies get their panties in a knot every time you do.
NONE can intelligently articulate why they do not like her. NONE have.

I doubt if Sarah Palin will join the ranks of people such as Hannity, Coulter, Limbaugh, Beck, etc. Does anyone in America think that even Beck himself takes what he says seriously? These people are just entertainers. I have no idea what Sarah Palin is going to do and I doubt if anyone else does, either. I do doubt that she will run for public office. But at the same time I also doubt that she will become an entertainer. Whatever she does, I suspect it will be something on her own terms.

Sorry I have two comments that are almost the same. The first was "supposedly" rejected due to server error.

I don't know her so I cannot like or dislike her, however, I do not like her politics.
on abortion, I believe that a woman has the right to choose what happens to her own body, period. A law making abortion illegal is not freedom but oppression.
Smaller Government, this I like, however, the lack of oversight and regulation is what caused this recession to start with. There needs to be regulations that keep business honest and keep the public and the economy safe as well.
Health care: well, we have to start somewhere. When business together with employee cannot afford decent health insurance, there needs to have something done. This may not be the best way, but it is a starting point.
Im running out of space , but there are major differences in our politics. So, If I haven't articulated well enough for you, you are simply to closed a mind to converse with.
