Palin & 2012: Sarah 'electrifying' both evangelical & hunting fishing groups

Today, while Governor Palin is creating what has been called "electrifying excitement" with her speech  at the hunting and fishing convention of  the Safari Club,  Rev. Michael Bresciani's publication, 7 reasons America needs Sarah Palin in 2012, is spreading like wildfire on the most conservative sites all fervently searching for the perfect conservative candidate, which may include but isn't to be confused with an evangelical candidate,  for 2012.

Following is a transcript of an e-mail about the search for the perfect evangelical candidate for 2012:

Evangelicals want someone with: Sarah Palin’s looks and courage, Tim Pawlenty’s Midwest sensibilities, Mike Huckabee’s heart, Chris Christie’s boldness, Rick Santorum’s moral compass, Mitt Romney’s business experience, Newt Gingrich’s brains, Bobby Jindal’s common sense, and Mike Pence’s record. What’s not acceptable is four more years of someone who is economically and socially driving the nation off the cliff. (The Brody File, the CEO of Concerned Women for America, Penny Nance)

Bresciani posits that Sarah Palin is both the perfect evangelical and conservative candidate.
In a nutshell, his reasons include:

  1. Sarah Palin is not Barack Obama
  2. Sarah Palin has the highest name recognition of any potential candidate
  3. With grace and charm, Sarah Palin could most positively represent America, in a world where "appearance counts".
  4. Sarah Palin represents the majority of Americans with her Christian faith; and though many may claim  their religion to  be "Christianity", Sarah's religion would never be in doubt.
  5. Sarah personifies old fashioned American character and integrity and those qualities speak well for the Palin administration to be made up of like-minded, "the cream of the crop, the best of the best" policy administrators and advisors.
  6. "Sarah's background and upbringing in one of the most rugged states in the country along with her desire to make America less dependent on foreign oil will no doubt serve to guide her decisions around the environmental lobbyists, excessive EPA regulations and do what is right for the nation."
  7. As  a woman, only a Sarah Palin presidency affords American Republicans the opportunity to make history.

Against a background of reports that the GOP is determined to find a candidate to "Stop Sarah Palin",  it appears that each day their task grows more difficult. Who else but Sarah has the name recognition, the personal charisma, the basic American values that "electrify" traditional Americans, the "common sense" approach with which most Americans identify, the sheer power of personality to eclipse all others?

No matter, it appears that once speculation stops and campaigning begins, 2012 will be an electrifying election year.

    Hi Dev,

    E4U

Wow, in that email they sure do describe the "perfect" dream candidate! If only..........

    Could it be Sarah Palin?

Along with the perfect traits pointed out, there are those that feel she may also have too much 'baggage'......

Time will tell, but as you so aptly say Dev, it does look like "2012 will be an electrifying election year"!

    Dev ...

What the progressive and cancerous leftwing nuts don't realize is that the more they attack the lovely Governor Palin, the more sympathetic a figure she becomes. Sarah has values and integrity, something the left knows nothing about. Their baseless, senseless and misogynist attacks on Gov. Palin make her the obvious choice for 2012.

    America loves an underdog.

    And the best reason to vote for Sarah is stated in number one above;
    She's not barack obama.

  • Anonymous-em 1 year ago

    "America loves an underdog"
Then why not simply vote in osams? He has to be the most underdoggy of all underdogs.

Why not, paul? because america love white, vapid, vacuous, mentally bereft, incompetent, gun weilding, bible-touting underdogs. The "underdog" act has very little to do with it really.

Palin is the epitome if political incompetence. Seriously. "values"? hmm, sure, as long as god has told her what they are. "integrity"? where? Any examples of integrity around? all I see is car-wreck interviews, bungled, irrelevant speeches, etc. etc. etc.

Basless? I'd say the fact she considers russia being on her doorstep as foreign experience to be pretty well grounded lynch-pin, don't you think? Or do you think that her extensive coaching over the past htree years has somehow embued her brain with magically-intelligent qualities?

Paul, palin, AND you, are the reason the world are simultaneously horrified, and amused by the usa.

God if republicans put her on the ticket for 2012 basically give a free pass for Obama to be elected again.

  • Anonymous 1 year ago

    You got that right, Darklurkr.

  • Anonymous 1 year ago

She'll never make it through the primaries. She'd have to answer questions that werent pre screened and we all know she is incapable of that.

  • Anonymous 1 year ago

Of course shes got the name recognition. Shes the Paris Hilton of politics.

I like Palin and would vote for her over Obama but am partial to NJ's Christie who I do not think will run. Jindal has governed well. Performance should count but as Obama showed, one can be elected with very little qualifying experience.

You people kill me. If someone doesnt like Palin you assume they are on the left. I despise Palin and I, and like many other right wingers, feel the same.

  • Anonymous 1 year ago

Palin is a joke. Christie is a good choice, but watch for Thune. He is up and coming.
