Cricinfo reported on March 9, 2013, that Graeme Smith and Hashim Amla return to the South African squad for the ODI series against Pakistan.

For Pakistan, Shahid Afridi, Akmal and Junaid Khan return to the ODI series after resting during the Test series.
For South Africa, bowling could be a concern as neither pacers Daniel Steyn nor Morkel is likely to play this game.
