When the snow drifts finally clear, and they will clear soon, Cloverdale Links plans to hit the season running by drawing players with its new Early Bird Golf Special.

The Scottish links-like layout’s special goes into effect in April and May until 9 a.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

“The green fees will be $28 plus tax for 18 holes and $20 plus tax for nine holes,” said Audrey May, Cloverdale’s manager. “We’ll also launch a Happy Friday offer that happens from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. when players can golf all they want for the regular golf rates and pay extra only for the rental of a power cart.”

Cloverdale Links is a reflection of Scotland’s famous links layouts, with its wide fairways and large greens making the local course attractive to play for golfers of varying skill levels.

The track is always lush and measures 6,427 yards from the tips (5,830 yards from the white tees, 5,150 yards from the reds) and par is 71.

Cloverdale Links is located about 45 klicks south of Ottawa on Bank Street South (Hwy. 31) between Vernon and Winchester.
