According to a Sept. 5 post from Babes of MMA, Paige "12 Gauge" VanZant is back on the scene with a slew of new photos, a new gym and new management team.
Now all fight fans are waiting on is a fight announcement for the fast-rising strawweight superstar.
VanZant, 19, also took to Facebook on Sept. 5 to reveal a little more about her fight day routine, favorite colors and more.
"For the men I would say Uriah Faber. What a hunk! And women Ronda Rousey of course! She is a beautiful lady who speaks her mind while staying classy," VanZant posted. "She is a bad chick and I would love to be like her."
VanZant trains at Faber's gym in California, so don't expect any romantic fireworks between them.
"12 Gauge" also announced that she learned a lot from her Invicta FC 4 fight against Tecia Torres, and she vows to never come into another fight unprepared for all out war.
"When I fought Tecia Tores I finally came to the realization how much of a mental game fighting is," VanZant said. "I have always been mentally focused and prepared before each fight except my fight against her, and it really showed. I know now to never step into the cage unless the only thing on my mind is how I am going to destroy my opponent."
She also provided a bit of advice to young, up-and-coming fighters.
"If you can survive in a cage with someone who wants to kill you, then the rest of life’s battles are a piece of cake," VanZant said. "Stay confident, proud and focused. You only live once, so make yourself proud."
No word yet on whether or not VanZant will be a part of the Invicta FC 7 card. Promotion officials will likely make the announcement soon.
