This Saturday, January 12th of 2013, marks the start of the second official season of Living Earth’s Pagan Bowling league! So if you are an open minded person who finds yourself wanting to meet other open minded folks, come bowling with us!
Where: AMF Belleview Lanes (4900 S. Federal, Englewood)
What day: Every Saturday
What time: 6:30 pm
How much: $9 per person per game (3 sets to each game) shoe rental included!
Because the average league runs in terms of months, it can be difficult to find people willing to commit. In answer to this issue, we decided to create an open league: you can come to one game or all sixteen. You also don’t have a deadline to join, when it is convenient for you-we’ll be there.
The photo I posted for the article is of one of our league-mates who bowled his second ever Perfect Game at the start of last season. If you haven’t bowled in awhile and don’t remember what that would be, it’s a score of 300. I consider myself good if I break 100! That was my first time watching someone bowl ten strikes in a row, so while we may not take it all too seriously, most of us are not champion bowlers by any means-but we bowl to have FUN.
