Pagans ask Fox News for an apology

I am sure most of you have heard about the Fox News fiasco. If not, just as a recap, on Feb. 17, 2013 Terry Bruce and Tucker Carlson discussed the University of Missouri’s guide to religious holidays that are observed by the school. The broad cast was extremely negative and alluded to Pagans being lazy, anti-establishment and anti-religion. Some of the things they said were "it’s beyond political correctness, it’s almost like an excuse to do nothing" which was said by Terry, she also said "I don’t know any Wiccans, I think on a really bad day I might turn into one, I am not sure" as well as "it almost seems as though we’re looking for excuses for people to not have to take their commitments seriously, it’s beyond political correctness; it’s almost like an excuse to do nothing. It’s like societal nihilism, where nothing matters."

In the guide that started the controversy there are there are 11 Christian holidays, 45 Catholic holidays, 21 Jewish holidays, and only 8 for Pagans. Their conversation made it seem as though there were 20 holidays for the Pagans at the school. They have enraged the Pagan community across the country. Now there are two petitions asking for an apology from Fox. There is rumor that Tucker Carlson posted a small and insincere apology.
