Pagan classes and events near Anaheim, April 23-27

Spring time means lots of activity throughout SoCal and the Pagan community is no exception to this. Grow your social circle by checking out some of the events near you.

Wednesday, April 23

  • Join Royce Del Merari at the Learning Light Foundation in Anaheim from 730-9p in Spirit Circle. There is a suggested $5 donation. Contact spirits and gain a greater insight through mediumship and circle.
  • Learn how to incorporate essential oils into your first aid kit from 645-9p at the Learning Light Foundation in Anaheim. First Aid with Essential Oils will teach how to treat a number of first aid and family health situations. Kathleen Brozee is the facilitator and the class is $20.
  • Jay Weinart takes students into a weekly Journey into Consciousness from 7-9p at the Learning Light Foundation. Each class is $20 and new students are always welcome. Students are guided as they delve into different aspects of consciousness.

Thursday, April 24

  • Nick Sutcliffe teaches Psychic Forensics and Vital Energetics at the Learning Light Foundation in Anaheim from 7-9p. This class is $20 per class and recurs every 2nd and 4th Thursday.

Friday, April 25

  • The Golden Lotus O.T.O. Lodge in Garden Grove is hosting a Classathon, beginning Friday and continuing through Sunday. The opening reception is Friday and features the musical guest Dry River. Doors open at 730p and events close at 11p. The fee for all three days is $30 for members, $40 for non members and $45 for late registration at the door. Space is limited.
  • The Goddess Temple of Orange County in Irvine opens its doors to the general public from 12-5p. Reflect, pray, and observe as you tour the facilities.

Saturday, April 26

  • Sonja Prince hosts Women of Wisdom from 1030a-1230p at the Learning Light Foundation in Anaheim. Share this feminine space with other women. This class is $15, plus a $5 materials fee payable to the instructor.
  • The Secret to Astrological Timing to Make All Your Wishes Come True is a workshop based on a book, and being offered at the Learning Light Foundation in Anaheim from 11a-1p. The workshop is presented by Carol Quinn, and the fee is $25 plus a $5 materials fee payable to the instructor.
  • Classathon continues at the Golden Lotus O.T.O. Lodge in Garden Grove. Registration is for all three days and you can attend as many classes as you wish. Saturday courses include: Astronomology, Planetary Alchemy, and many more. Doors open at 830a and class begins sharply at 9a. The fee for all three days is $30 for members, $40 for non members and $45 for late registration at the door. Space is limited.
  • The Long Beach Pagan Meetup is hosting an online and in person meetup called Cottage Witchery-Cooking in Prosperity, at 1p. The in person location is in Whittier. Join the Long Beach Pagan Meetup for free to RSVP and receive more information about the private location. Participants are encouraged to bring a tool or ingredient which they feel brings them prosperity. The group is also hosting a google hangout video chat to facilitate online discussion for participants who can't make it in person.
  • The Goddess Temple of Orange County in Irvine hosts Priestess College which is open to women. Class is 1-3p, with doors opening at 12p. Complimentary refreshments will be served. Priestess College began in February and is one Saturday a month. Each class is $30 at the door. The theme for April is Altars and Correspondences.

Sunday, April 27

  • The conclusion of Classathon at the Golden Lotus O.T.O. Lodge in Garden Grove will be a Gnostic Mass, the Celebration of Liber XV. A Mass Feast is included. For those not registered for the Classathon, a $10 donation is suggested. Mass begins at 3p.
