Around 7:55 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, my cellphone received several text messages from boxing writers and media members informing me that The Boxing Truth Radio had been mentioned in Manny Pacquiao's defamation lawsuit against Golden Boy Promotions and Team Mayweather.
The news made sense.
Floyd Mayweather Senior had appeared on The Boxing Truth Radio on November 8, 2009. During his appearance, regular caller Dexter from Long Beach asked Mayweather Senior about his past comments regarding Pacquiao and potential performance enhancing drug use.
Of course, given an open door, Papa Maweather spoke on his belief that Pacquiao's rise to glory has been aided by drug use.
The radio show I co-host, every Sunday, was now caught up in the drama keeping boxing fans from seeing one of the biggest fights of the last twenty years.
So when I logged onto the Internet and read the legal papers prepared by attorney Daniel M. Petrocelli's team, I was shocked to see clear errors in the statements made.
The brief stated, "On or around October 29, 2009, [Floyd] Mayweather Jr. gave an interview to Sirius Satellite Radio's The Boxing Truth Radio. During the nationally-broadcast interview, the host asked Mayweather to explain how his physical development differed from that of Pacquiao."
To set the record straight, though we would love to have him on as a guest, Floyd Junior has never graced our show. Like I mentioned, Floyd Senior visited with us in November. The door is open for Floyd Junior or any other boxer to join The Boxing Truth Radio.
Secondly, The Boxing Truth Radio is not carried by Sirius Satellite Radio and we are broadcast globally via the Internet.
Sloppy mistakes, by a high power legal team. Makes me think that Manny should ditch the lawsuit, make the bout with Mayweather, get inside the ring, and fight.

Can easily be corrected. Just go to Youtube for that interview, it's all over the internet. Why drop the lawsuit? Everyone wants to see who wins this one. Early betting odds say, Pacquiao will win and be an all time undefeated plaintiff in the judicial system. Mayweather, he'll be 0-1.
This litigation will be more interesting than the actual fight itself.

I resumed back to my training. So here I was...reducing for tomorrow's weigh-in and 2 days before the fight. Since I have to weigh-in tomorrow, I have been reducing...I didn't drink, I didn't hydrate...so I can meet the weight. On that day, NSAC called and required me to submit a blood test for my medical. I told them that I have completed this test already. My camp reacted, Freddie Roach and my manager. NSAC informed us that the doctor lost my medical records.

here is the case number 2:09-cv-02448 for pacman lawsuit against mayweather..read its about 12 pages long. pacman wants a trial by jury. and he wants both monetary compensation and jailtime for the offenders. right now they want monetary damages in excess of $75,000 but the actual amount is gonna be determine in court.
